“Everyone who drinks this water from the well will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst again. It shall become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. All your fountains are found in me. Give me a cup in exchange for a life. Come daughter, come.”

Even after hearing this voice not familiar but soothing, I threw myself in.
I drowned myself in this well, going deeper and deeper,
becoming more and more thirsty.
It is then I realized I was not thirsty for water but for a life.
Can this man who claims to be a savior be the true living water,
the fountain that can fulfill my deep thirst?

As I sank deeper and deeper into the water,
all I remember after that moment is a hand extending down into the well.
It grabbed me with great force bringing me out of cold & darkness and into the light,
giving me breath,
giving me life.
